On the special spherical triangles for physical and cosmological applications
S Kalimuthu<p>It is well known that a spherical triangle of 270 degree triangle is constructible on the surface of a sphere; a globe is a good example. Take a point (A) on the equator, draw a line 1/4 the way around (90 degrees of longitude) on the equator to a new point (B). ... The angle at each of the vertices (A, B, C) will be ninety degrees, for a total of 270 degrees as shown in Figure 1. It is also possible to draw a spherical triangle whose interior angle sum is equal to 360 degrees. Also, it is possible to construct a special spherical triangle whose interior angle sum up to 540 degrees. </p><p><br></p>
