Dr. Guanhua Li obtained his M.D. degree at the School of Medicine, Sun-Yat-sen University in China in 2006, and completed his residency training in general surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun-Yat-sen University. He was awarded his Ph.D in Clinical Surgery in 2013 in Sun-Yat-sen University, then completed his fellowship program in cardiovascular surgery in Guangdong General Hospital in 2018. He is currently an attending surgeon in Guangzhou Women and Children`s Medical Centre. Until now, he has published five research papers and acquired two grant funding. His current research is focused on Nanomedicine and translational medicine; Mechanical support of cardiac dysfunction; Surgical treatments for thoracic and heart diseases; breast cancers and general surgery.
