Charges policy

The papers submitted for publication to any Peertechz journal incurs a Manuscript Processing Charge (MPC). MPC is of paramount importance for covering the cost of publishing and for disseminating quality publication services. It also helps in promoting the published research works on different Indexing platforms, DOI and other related services. MPC should be regarded as an essential and suitable section in the budget of the authors’ for research. The MPC also helps in covering partially the cost incurred in assigning the manuscript for peer-review process and for formatting the manuscript as per the publication guidelines. Waiver policy

We have substantial waiver policies in place for the deserving authors whose university or institution are not providing funding assistance in research or who have lack of financial support from funding agencies. The provision for complete or partial fee waiver depends on the case-by-case basis for the authors. However, the request for waiver is taken into consideration only if the request for a waiver has been sent to the related journal before submission of the manuscript.

The authors desirous for availing waiver should furnish following information along with the request for waiver:

Withdrawal policy

According this general notion, the editor of a scholarly journal is alone and independently responsible for selecting whether articles submitted to the journal will be published. To make this judgment, the editor must be familiar with Editorial Board standards and current legal requirements, such as libel, violation of copyright, and plagiarism. Due to this concept, the academic archive is significant as a permanent historical record of intellectual discussions.

Insofar as possible, previously published articles will not be revised or modified. In very rare cases, it may be essential to retract or even erase a previously published article. Such actions are not to be taken lightly and are only acceptable in severe circumstances. In the official archives of the publisher’s (Peertechz Publications Pvt. Ltd) database, all versions of articles, even those that have been retracted or otherwise destroyed, will be retained.

This policy was developed in response to these concerns and with current academic and library best practices in mind. As standards evolve and develop, we will revisit this problem and would appreciate hearing the opinions of the academic and library community. We believe that worldwide standards are required for these challenges, and we will work diligently to get international standards and best practices established by various information organizations for use by the publishing and information businesses.

Withdrawal of the article:

This word and procedure may only be utilized while the article is still in press, which refers to early drafts of articles that sometimes include errors or were accidentally submitted twice. Infrequently, but sometimes, the papers breach professional ethics in ways such as duplicate submissions, false claims of authorship, plagiarism, and dishonest use of data. On the other hand, the author must withheld himself from contributing this article into any additional publications he may be interested in for the whole 21-working-day review period of the journal. This withdrawal policy will not apply if the proxy submission was made because the person was unable to abstain.

According to the policy, Articles in Press (articles accepted for publication but not yet officially published) that contain errors, are accidental duplicates of other published articles, or violate journal publishing ethics guidelines (such as multiple submission, bogus claims of authorship, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, etc.) will be removed from Peertechz archive.

However, this may incur fees based on the following guidelines established by the publisher's general assembly. And the fee breakdown is as follows:

If the paper is removed before to the plagiarism check, there is no fee; if it is withdrawn after the plagiarism check but before peer review, the fee is $249; if it is withdrawn after peer review, the fee is $749; and if the manuscript is withdrawn at the final proof stage, the fee is $749.

Retraction of Article:

Duplicate submissions, misleading claims, allegations, and false statements of authorship/copyrights, plagiarism, or unethical data utilization are infractions of professionalism. Infrequently, a correction is appropriate to rectify mistakes that were made during the submission or publishing process, however, this doesn't have to be the complete submission withdrawal at any stage of the article in press. After receiving feedback from other academics (reviewers), it is rather rare for the researchers or editorial staff of a scientific publication to retract their article from submission. Retractions of manuscripts adhere to standards established by various library and scientific organizations.

Exclusion of Article:

On rare occasions, it may be necessary to remove an item from the online database. This will only occur if the content is blatantly defamatory, breaches the legal rights of others, is the subject of a court order or there is a reasonable anticipation that it will be, or if acting on the piece would pose a grave health risk. In some instances, a screen stating that the article has been removed for legal reasons will replace the text, although the metadata (Title and Authors) will remain intact.

Substitution of article:

In instances when the article, if followed, may pose a significant health danger, the authors of the original article may choose to retract the erroneous original and publish a new version. In these instances, the Substitution procedures will be applied.
