I am deeply grateful to Peertechz for the free translation of my short book “Aging and Oncogenesis (Ontogenetic, evolutionary, environmental and social aspects)” and its publication on the Internet. The work was done in two months and without the bureaucratic difficulties that the Russian Foundation for Basic Research loves to mend for those who turn to them. I hope that the thoughts expressed in the book will allow scientists to decipher the mechanism of cancer and stop its epidemic, which has swept the whole world. I have little hope that this will be done in Russia, since the financing of science is scarce now. Therefore, translating the book into English was very desirable. He will introduce a wide circle of researchers to the thoughts expressed in the book. I hope this will accelerate the decoding of the cancer mechanism, and, therefore, the development of means for its treatment.
