Dear Editor, genetic disorder is usually a big problem in medicine since it is diffi cult to manage. There are many genetic diseases around the world. In an area, there is usually a common genetic disease. Unlike the infectious disease which can be contagious, migration of disease to a new setting in uncommon. In case of infectious disease, emerging new infection can be due to transportation from one site to the other. However, for genetic disorder, this phenomenon is rather diffi cult. The case can be seen in the migrant who are ethnic minority in many countries. The best example is the emerging number of thalassemia [1].
